Situated in Bonnie Strathyre, which is often known as the “first village of the Highlands”, but just over an hour away from Glasgow and Edinburgh and only 40 minutes from Stirling, the Munro Inn offers a superb base for a touring holiday (surrounded as it is by the Trossachs), a stop-over while walking the Rob Roy Way (which passes the inn’s door!), a relaxing weekend away or just an afternoon or evening with friends.
A traditional Victorian Highland Inn refurbished to a very high standard, the Munro Inn has a cosy public bar and lively lounge bar, with a conservatory dining room, the library which has broadband internet access and richly decorated bedrooms. Cycle racks, laundry and a group room sleeping up to ten people give walkers, bikers and cyclists a place to dry off and relax.
The intimate public bar specialises in malt whiskies. With over one hundred on the gantry, they have a malt to suit every taste - and pocket!
Of course, they offer more than just whisky. Their real ale is Lia Fail from local brewery Inveralmond and, with half-a-dozen gins and other spirits and liqueurs, you are certain to find something to suit everyone.

Just 10 miles from the tourist hotspot of Callander, but still within easy distance of Glasgow or Edinburgh, the Munro offers a tranquil spot to partake of a dram or two.
