Located at the west end of Edinburgh's world famous shopping street, Princes Steet, the Caley Bar is a watering hole long favoured by celebrity visitors to Edinburgh. The emphasis on whisky, however, is a relatively recent change of focus. As would be expected of a venue with such a pedigree, the bar is elegant, relaxing and discreetly hidden behind the hotel's reception area, although it has its own entrance off Rutland Street.

As a guest in one of the 5 star hotel's 251 rooms, the delights of a whisky cocktail or malt whisky on the comfy leather sofas at this bar with its contemporary decor in burgundy and green tones are very tempting. Paintings of the 1920s Princess Street Station and an old station clock reflect the Caledonian Hilton Edinburgh hotel's history as a railway hotel.
